As a wife and mother, my love for cooking has always been a part of my identity. However, it wasn't until I was pregnant with my second child that I decided to delve into the world of baking. My journey began with baking Agege bread, a beloved Nigerian classic. I found a recipe online and adjusted the recipe based on the ingredients on hand. I was on a mission to perfect it, so I baked it weekly, eagerly sharing the results with family and friends who praised its deliciousness. Encouraged by positive feedback, my younger sister suggested I expand my baking horizons to include cakes and desserts. That moment marked the beginning of “Dija's Bakery”, and the rest, as they say, is history.
